Today I just realized how much of a let down all these new updates that Facebook have made live have been. Keeping in mind that I’ve been on Facebook since it was first opened to high school students it’s gotten significantly slower. It seems as though the service is having major growing pains. The service has gotten so slow to the point that uploading a simple little video takes several minutes and at times has taken an hour. The photos “application” takes forever to load an image and even the general platform has trouble loading a simple profile at certain times of day. I guess the question in my head that is begging to be answered is weren’t they prepared for this? If not why weren’t they?
