Google Reader Bug?
by Jamison "JAK" Kissh on March 24, 2009
Tonight I checked Google Reader which reported I had 3 unread items. I clicked the all items tab to view them and saw two items. After thinking that maybe it was just a glitch I click the all items tab again. This time I was presented with the screen below:
To say the least it made me chuckle and wonder if I was going crazier.
A WTF Moment Brought to You by Google

So I saw this on a blog and thought it was a joke. Google Suggest in it’s mighty wisdom apparently suggests something very funny when you begin to type “I am extremely” and let it finish it for you. Take a look at the picture below to see what I mean.
And no I haven’t actually done the search (I’m not sure why) but I’m not sure I want to either.
Google Chrome Cliche

Yesterday I was working on creating a custom Google search widget for my company’s site when I noticed a little yellow notification banner on Google’s site notifying me that the browser I was using (Google Chrome) was not supported and that they recommended I use Firefox or IE.

Google Chrome

Well since I like this post and I lost it I’m going to try and recreate it.
I’ve been using Google Chrome at work for about a week now on my pc there and I’ve gotta say, it’s awesome. I switched to chrome from Firefox 3 and the difference in load time of the browser alone is amazing. Chrome seems to be much lighter than Firefox although I have not tested this theory. The browser seems to fit into Vista better as well, it uses nice smooth transitions when opening/closing tabs as well as a nice little speed dial style new tab window. It’s a much cleaner looking browser than Firefox and even Microsoft’s own IE which you would expect to fit into their own operating system. I’m going to post a review a little later when I really become aclimated to the browser.
I do have one last thing to say though, it needs to come to mac os x… now!
